A Kung Fu and Tai Chi Invitation

Hello I am Dave Pickens the National Director of the United States Amateur Athletic Union’s Chinese Martial Arts Division.

On behalf of our Organization and the National Executive Board I would like to invite you to our 2008 National Kung Fu and Tai Chi Championships on Saturday August 16, 2008 in Round Rock Texas.

At the site listed above you will find our national tournament registration information, lodging, and our mission and plans for the future with the AAU.

We are a group of Chinese stylist that are set in the preservation of the rich cultural and traditional methods of martial arts developed in China.

We are unique in that we elect our officials from the National Chair on down and that we use a committee system for rules improvements, tournament organization, and educational development.

We would be glad and honored to welcome you to join the largest and oldest sporting organization in America.The AAU is 500,000 strong and has been building champions in over 34 sports since 1888. We would like for you to help us to promote the passion we all hold for Chinese Martial Arts and reach more Americans with it's values.

Our AAU motto is “All Sports Forever” and inside our Chinese Martial Arts AAU Logo is ” Wude” which best exemplifies the role each of our members attempts to set as well.
